Situated in this very popular residential enclave in the heart of Phibsboro Village, the property was in a derelict state. It comprised of downstairs, a living room and small kitchen and upstairs featured three substantial bedrooms and one bathroom.
The property required full refurbishment and was completed by the Fitzpatrick & Heavey team and included the following complete electrical rewiring and installation of new spotlights in the downstairs of the property.
A new heating system was installed to bring this property up to date. A 25m flat extension, with fibreglass roof and rooflights were installed along with a full new roof across the rest of the property to ensure the property was fully waterproofed. To match this new extension double glazed Aluclad, A rated, sliding patio doors were installed leading out onto a spacious patio area.
Handmade, A rated double glazed, white, sliding sash windows were specified and installed by the Fitzpatrick & Heavey construction team. As many features as possible were retained or refurbished of the property including internal coving, fireplaces, skirting boards, architraves, internal doors and the existing wooden floors were sanded and varnished leading to a stunning finish.
A beautiful custom-made kitchen and island unit was installed and a dark blue paint finish and granite counter top to give this property a modern family feeling. Finally, electric roller shutter gates were installed at the rear of the property to secure the property.
